Dirk Segstro is of Metis Dutch descent with a history of boat building and canoe building on both sides of the family. Dirk is currently doing woodworking and boat building on contract in his shop located in Procter, British Columbia. Dirk utilizes the lumber provided by the Harrop-Procter Community Forest, building specialty products such as custom log railings, furniture, boats, bridges, canoes and custom log buildings on a small scale.
We also operate a firewood business utilizing the Harrop-Procter Community Forest harvested timber scrap when possible.
Dirk serves the communities of Nelson, Balfour, Harrop-Procter and Kaslo
